She was tired of waiting. If anybody asked her why she wore that particular dress tonight, it would be her answer.
She bought the black lace dress two weeks ago. It was very similar to a dress she saw on an episode of Law and Order: Criminal Intent. The character had worn it to her husband's funeral. It was very inappropriate for the occasion, worn more for expressing the character's sexuality than anything else. When Dru saw that dress on tv, she knew she had to have something similar. Something he would notice and force him to see her as a desirable woman.
Judging by the way he couldn't take his eyes off of her, her mission was accomplished. She smiled and made her way to him. She knew he couldn't refuse her. He was hers for the taking.
